Attorney Cynthia Crockett

Attorney Cynthia Crockett has 30 years experience practicing family law.  She had extensive experience litigating and mediating divorces before training in the Collaborative method in 2017.  She has represented clients in fights as well as matters assisting couples to mutually resolve their disputes.  She practices collaborative divorce, mediation and litigation.  Attorney Crockett uses her 30 years of experience having practiced family law in Connecticut, as well as her experience being married for 25 years and as a mother to assist her clients in resolving their divorce and custody cases without the emotional toll of a trial and spending all of their financial resources doing so.

She received her Batchelor’s degree from the University of Stony Brook in 1991 and her Juris Doctor from Western New England University School of Law in 1994.  She was admitted to practice law in the State of Connecticut in 1994 and was admitted to the Federal District Court in 1995. Additionally, she was admitted to practice before The United States Supreme Court in 2009.

Attorney Crockett is a member of the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Hartford County Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and She Leads Justice.

Attorney Crockett received The Honorable Anthony V. DeMayo award in 2024.  Additionally, Attorney Crockett was selected for Super Lawyers in 2024 and has been Rated AV Preeminent by Martindale Hubbell for 10 years.
