Attorney Ann Newman

Attorney Ann Newman is an experienced attorney with a practice that focuses on marital mediation and collaborative divorce.   She has spent more than twenty years working with families in family law and child protection matters. She has extensive training and has certifications in mediation and collaboration.

Attorney Newman’s practice includes divorce, custody and custody arrangements, child support, division of assets, prenuptial agreements, meditation, collaborative divorce and child protection issues.

Prior to being admitted to the Connecticut Bar in 1991, Attorney Newman earned her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law. In addition, she earned a Master of Science from Northeastern University in 1983.

Attorney Newman is a board member of the Connecticut Council for Non-Adversarial Divorce. She is a member of the Collaborative Divorce Team of Connecticut, the Connecticut Collaborative Divorce Group, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
