Attorney Frederick F. Ward II
Attorney Frederick Ward, II., is a graduate of Catholic University (1974) and the Wake Forest University School of Law (1977). Attorney Ward served as a civil and family Law Clerk in the Hartford Superior Court (1977/1978).
Attorney Ward has been in private practice since 1978 and has represented many parties and minor children in Divorce and Family Matters in the Judicial Districts of Hartford, Middlesex, Litchfield, New Britain and Tolland. Attorney Ward is a trained Mediator and Arbitrator. He serves as a Special Master in divorce and custody matters in Hartford and the Middlesex custody docket. He serves as an Arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association, the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service, the New York State Teacher Arbitration Panel, and the FAA New England Regional Arbitration Panel. He has served as a Mediator for the Connecticut Department of Education. He served as an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer in labor relations at the University of Connecticut.
Attorney Ward was named a Super Lawyer by the New England Edition of Super Lawyers Magazine and Connecticut Magazine. Attorney Ward is a former Chairman of the Connecticut Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and Former Treasurer of the American Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and a member of the National Mediation Board Arbitration Roster. Attorney Ward has extensive training in mediation and the collaborative process. He has extensive training in mediation and collaboration. Attorney Ward is committed to the collaborative divorce process in Connecticut. He believes the collaborative process helps families to facilitate a peaceful, fair and equitable resolution of their matters.
